slog in techno color

Well time for another art update, sadly though it's nothing special, I decided this week to break out my prisma markers for the first time in like 7 months, so this shit is just me fucking around, the dude in the middle is actually a small figure that sits on my desk, it's designed by one of my all time fav painters Sam flores, so I guess it's abit of a homage to him, and well I did the panda cuase my buddy Andrew from class fucking loves Pandas, and the rest is just random shit..so yeah not much more to explain then that...enjoy.

well I haven't post any art in the past couple, so here is a quick sketch I did up in class, purely to post on here, all it is a head shot of one of my characters from my magnum obus book called Hired Gunz, it's a book Im slowly working on over time. this characters name is sylvester, he's one of the main characters, so yeah sorry I don't have much more then this, but enjoy.

well I really don't have any art this week to post, so instead I thought I would post some pics of my workstation, well one of them. These are pics of my workstation here in beautiful Grimsby, it's a pretty small space, but I love it. On the table is a current page im working on for a small school anthology, it's only a 2 pager,my story is called Hired Gunz, its some ill samurai fantasy western kinda shit, pretty cool, also you can see a sweet Jim Mahfood commision I got when I went to the New York comic con, and crap load of inking material, and some books, the page in the picture is quite finished still have abit to do, I will post them both when I am done, but for now enjoy these pics.

IT"S BLOGGIIN TIME!

Well here I am again with some updates. if you noticed in my prior posts I keep talking about a crime noir comic im working,and I came to realize that ive never mention the title of it, so here it is. it's called Castor Bean and it is written by a rad dude named Gordon Sheridan, who is in fact also my writing prof at school. So the first pic is a character design for said book, he's one of the detectives named Lenny flavour, the book itself is coming along slowly, due to school and what not, it's become a slow process, but Im still sluggin. the second pic is just a sketch that i decided to ink and greytone, the look for his head was inspired by the afro samurai, like I said this something just quick and for fun, no real ryhme or reason to it, and the final image is just a sheet of heads...nothing special, just some random heads...well enjoy.

all in the family

For anyone that knows me, they know Im a huge fan of the soprano's, so last night I threw down this quick sketch of a cartoon version of tony, to me tony is by far one of my fav TV characters. though he maybe a cold mafia boss, he is still very honorable, and will protect his family, to me that makes him a well rounded character, next to him I love Christopher, thats who I plan to sketch next, so yeah you can on seeing more Soprano characters from me in the future.

Well I've finally scanned some new art. The first one is another quick design sketch for that crime noir comic Im working, Im putting alot of development work into this project, Ive decided that im not gonna touch a page until the characters are excatly where I want them to be. the second is a quick character sketch I did for school. He's for a Duo comic property that I had to present to the class, the arm was inspired by steampunk, cause well I love that comic, so yeah thats all I really have so far, nothing to major..hahah..so enjoy.

FRESH FOR 07

Well somehow, my old blogger account got messed up, and I can't seem to access it anymore, which really pisses me off. So Ive decided to start off fresh with a new one, as you can see Ive changed the title, cause well this one is cooler, and shorter then the other one. As for art Im gonna post a slew of of sketchs for that crime noir book Im working, as well as some sketchs to a couple personal projects I have going, so yeah stay tuned.
